We are seeking a fast, adaptive, and visually compelling Political Graphic Designer to drive our visual messaging across digital, print, and broadcast platforms. In this role, you will translate political strategy, complex policy data, and real-time news into high-impact visuals that resonate with voters, energize supporters, and shape public narratives. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-velocity news cycle environment, understands modern digital campaign dynamics, and possesses sharp typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills. Key Responsibilities Digital & Social Media Assets: Design scroll-stopping graphics, carousel posts, infographics, YouTube thumbnails, and animated assets for platforms including X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and YouTube. Campaign Branding & Print: Develop and maintain visual brand identity across print collateral, including campaign posters, flyers, yard signs, mailers, billboards, and event staging. Rapid Response Design: Produce quick-turnaround creative assets in response to breaking news, opponent messaging, debate moments, and trending political developments. Data Visualization: Translate policy whitepapers, polling stats, and economic metrics into clean, easy-to-digest infographics and charts. Ad & Fundraising Creatives: Build high-converting visual ads for digital fundraising, email headers, and targeted programmatic ad campaigns. Collaboration: Partner closely with campaign strategists, copywriters, and video editors to ensure visual identity aligns with core political messaging and campaign goals. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: 2–4+ years of professional graphic design experience. Experience in political campaigns, advocacy groups, news media, or public affairs agencies is strongly preferred. Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Basic motion graphics/animation skills (After Effects) or video editing is a major plus. Speed & Agility: Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Political & Cultural Awareness: Solid understanding of current events, political dynamics, social media trends, and persuasive design techniques. Print & Digital Specs: Strong technical knowledge of digital asset sizing, web formats, and print production prep (CMYK, bleed, resolution, print specs). Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing strong typography, layout, political or news-focused creatives, and social media campaigns. Work Environment & Expectations Hours: Standard business hours with flexibility for nights and weekends required during active election cycles, debate nights, or rapid-response moments.
