Civil Site Engineer

Job Description – Civil Engineer Position: Civil Engineer Location: Anand Vihar, Delhi NCR Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction activities and coordinate with MEP services for commercial infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of structural drawings, AutoCAD, site execution, and quality control while ensuring timely project completion. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. Study, interpret, and execute work as per architectural, structural, and MEP drawings . Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors. Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings , shop drawings, and as-built drawings as required. Ensure proper execution of civil, finishing, and MEP-related works as per approved drawings and specifications. Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines. Verify measurements, prepare BOQs, estimate material requirements, and monitor material consumption. Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire fighting, and other MEP teams to avoid execution conflicts. Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Identify site issues and recommend practical engineering solutions. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, statutory regulations, and company standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Civil Engineering. 5+ years of experience in group housing, metros, railway, commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, or infrastructure projects. Experience in MEP coordination and structural execution will be preferred. Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Civil Construction . Ability to read and interpret Structural Drawings . Knowledge of MEP Drawings (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting). Proficiency in AutoCAD . Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation. Understanding of quality control and construction standards. Familiarity with project planning and site coordination. Good communication and team management skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Software KnowledgeAutoCAD MS Excel MS Project (Preferred) Revit (Preferred) Any Project Management Software (Added Advantage) Desired Candidate Profile Strong technical and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple contractors simultaneously. Good coordination and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under deadlines and project-based schedules. Willingness to travel between project locations, if required.
