Job Summary BBT – Blueball Technologies is looking for a motivated and career-focused Student Counsellor / Admission Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and working professionals, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable IT training programs, handling leads, conducting follow-ups, and supporting the admission process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, confidence in handling students and parents, a positive attitude, and a strong interest in education and career counselling. Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students and working professionals regarding suitable IT courses and career pathways. Understand students' educational background, career interests, skills, goals, and expectations . Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions and explain suitable BBT programs. Explain course curriculum, duration, eligibility, training methodology, career opportunities, fees, and admission procedures . Handle enquiries from students and parents through phone calls, WhatsApp, and direct counselling . Make outbound calls to assigned leads and generate counselling appointments. Follow up regularly with prospective students and parents. Schedule counselling sessions and centre visits . Handle student queries and objections professionally. Maintain strong relationships with prospective students throughout the admission journey. Convert qualified leads into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up. Maintain accurate lead information, remarks, follow-up dates, and conversion status in the CRM. Coordinate with the Training, Sales, and Placement teams when required. Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly counselling and admission targets . Prepare and submit regular activity and conversion reports to the reporting manager. RequirementsAny UG / PG degree . Freshers and candidates with 0–3 years of experience can apply. Excellent Tamil and English communication skills . Good interpersonal and convincing skills. Comfortable making outbound calls and handling prospective students. Ability to understand student requirements and recommend appropriate courses. Positive attitude, confidence, patience, and willingness to learn. Prior experience in education counselling, inside sales, telecalling, admissions, or training institutes will be an advantage.
