The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable APIs, modular web applications, multi-tenant architectures, and working with multiple database technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-performance APIs and background services using PHP (Laravel) and Node.js (Fastify/Express.js).Build responsive and modular web applications using React.js, Tailwind CSS, Vite, and Bun.Design and implement multi-tenant architectures with strict tenant-level data isolation and access controls.Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis for database, caching, and queuing requirements.Develop and maintain modular monolithic applications using Composer path repositories and pnpm/Bun workspaces.Follow SOLID principles, clean coding practices, and scalable software architecture patterns.Write clean, maintainable, and strongly typed TypeScript code.Follow PHP PSR standards (PSR-1, PSR-4, PSR-12) and established development best practices.Implement automated unit/integration testing and ensure application quality.Configure and troubleshoot Nginx/Apache environments.Follow Git-based development workflows, code reviews, and version-control best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy applications.Mandatory Skills5+ years of experience in software/full-stack development.Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.Good experience with Node.js, preferably Fastify or Express.js.Strong frontend development experience with React.js.Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive UI development.Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.Working knowledge of MongoDB and Redis.Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and access control.Experience designing or working with multi-tenant applications.Strong understanding of SOLID principles, modular architecture, and clean code.Experience with Git and software development lifecycle practices.Knowledge of Nginx/Apache configuration and web-server environments.Good to HaveExperience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams.Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, AI workflow automation, or GenAI-based applications.Experience working with high-throughput or distributed systems.Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.NIIT is an equal opportunity employer.
