IT Administrator – Job Description Position: IT Administrator Industry: Jewellery Retail / Showroom Experience: Any Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field Location: Ahmedabad Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT equipment across showrooms and offices. Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting to employees. Manage and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity and networking . Handle and maintain CCTV systems, DVR/NVR and camera connectivity . Support and maintain billing/POS software, barcode scanners, biometric systems and other showroom-related software . Maintain proper records of IT assets, hardware, software and licenses . Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues before they affect business operations. Assist in implementing IT security policies and access controls . Provide IT support during new showroom setup, system installation and employee onboarding . Maintain confidentiality and security of company and customer data. Handle any other IT-related requirements assigned by management. Skills Required: Good knowledge of hardware & software troubleshooting Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, Wi-Fi & routers Knowledge of CCTV systems Knowledge of Windows, MS Office and antivirus Basic understanding of POS/Billing software Good problem-solving and communication skills Ability to coordinate with external IT vendors Quick learner with a service-oriented approach Fresher: Freshers with a good understanding of computers, networking, hardware/software troubleshooting and strong willingness to learn can also apply. Preferred: Experience in retail, jewellery showroom or multi-branch business environment will be an added advantage. Job Nature: Full-time
