Fire Safety Officer Location: Project Site Experience: 1-5 Years Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager Key Responsibilities: - Ensure fire safety compliance across the project site. - Conduct regular fire safety inspections and identify hazards. - Check fire extinguishers, firefighting equipment, emergency exits and access routes. - Implement and monitor Hot Work Permits. - Ensure safe storage and handling of flammable/combustible materials. - Conduct fire drills, toolbox talks and emergency preparedness activities. - Maintain fire safety registers, inspection reports and incident records. - Coordinate with client, building management, site team and fire authorities. - Immediately report and escalate fire hazards, incidents and non-compliance. Qualification: Diploma/Certificate in Fire & Safety or equivalent. Mandatory: Valid Fire Safety Officer licence/certification as applicable, with relevant site experience. Preferred: Experience in construction, interior fit-out or commercial projects.
