Civil Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee on-site execution for our upcoming multistorey residential building project, in Ranchi. This is a time sensitive project with timeline of 15 months for completion of 4 hostel building towers of G+6 Structure. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in residential construction, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to join immediately. Project Manager – Civil Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Experience: 15–20 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Civil Engineering Salary: ₹1.25 – ₹2.0 Lakh/month Relocation: Mandatory About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a multistorey building project in Ranchi , from initial mobilization through execution. Key Responsibilities Lead complete project setup and mobilisation from day one. Plan and arrange manpower, subcontractors, materials and equipment . Manage execution of RCC structure, masonry, finishing and MEP coordination . Prepare and monitor project schedules, resources and targets. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and management. Ensure quality, safety, cost and timely completion . Build and manage the complete project execution team. Candidate Requirements 15–20 years of relevant civil construction experience. Strong experience in multistorey building projects . Proven experience in new project mobilisation/setup . Strong manpower, subcontractor and material management skills. Should be hands-on, commercially aware and capable of independently managing the project and team of engineers and supervisors. Must be willing to relocate to Ranchi. Interested candidates may share their CV along with current CTC, expected CTC, notice period and details of major projects handled. ​ Key Responsibilities: ​ Site Execution: Oversee day-to-day construction activities for residential buildings, ensuring work progresses on schedule and meets quality standards. ​ Drawing Interpretation: Accurately read, interpret, and execute work according to architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. ​ Measurements & Billing: Take precise daily site measurements, record them accurately, and assist in the preparation and checking of running bills. ​ Quality & Safety: Maintain strict quality control of materials and workmanship while ensuring all site safety protocols are followed. ​ Coordination: Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, labor, and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow. ​ Requirements: ​B.Tech in Civil Engineering. ​Minimum of 10 years of hands-on site experience, specifically in residential building construction. ​Proven ability to execute work directly from technical drawings. ​Strong proficiency in taking site measurements and calculating material requirements. Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates who have handled: Residential towers / apartment projects Institutional buildings Hotels / commercial buildings G+5 and above structures Projects involving multiple subcontractors Projects with tight completion schedules Projects from initial mobilisation through final handover Key Performance Indicators The Project Manager will be evaluated on: Project mobilisation within planned timeline Timely manpower deployment Timely material availability Construction progress versus schedule Quality of construction Cost and material wastage control Subcontractor productivity Safety performance Timely resolution of site issues Overall project completion within approved time, cost and quality parameters
