This role involves leading a team, managing budgets, and coordinating with various departments to maintain location facilities and equipment. Key responsibilities include planning and executing preventative maintenance, addressing repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing inventory of maintenance supplies.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision and Leadership:Lead and supervise a team of maintenance personnel, including technicians, plumbers, electricians, vehicle mechanics etc. Train and mentor team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.Evaluate performance and provide feedback to improve team efficiency. Maintenance Planning and Execution:Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all utility and electrical maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Plan and schedule repair and installation activities, coordinating with other departments to minimize disruption. Respond to emergency maintenance needs promptly and efficiently. Budget and Cost Management:Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation. Track expenses, manage inventory of supplies and equipment, and negotiate vendor contracts. Facility Management:Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all store facilities and equipment. Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and potential issues. Implement and maintain safety standards and procedures. Inventory Management:Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are readily available when needed. Communication and Collaboration:Communicate effectively with store managers, warehouse managers, other team members, and outside vendors.Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruption. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and procedures. Implement best practices and technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
