Job Title: Electrical Technician – Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Maintenance Experience: Minimum 2 Years Department: Maintenance Employment Type: Full-Time Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Location: Gagilapur-Hyderabad Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of SPMs, troubleshooting electrical and control systems, and ensuring maximum machine availability with minimum downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of Special Purpose Machines. Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines and production equipment. Diagnose and rectify problems related to PLC, sensors, relays, contactors, motors, drives, control panels, and electrical circuits. Carry out electrical wiring, panel maintenance, modification, and machine installation work. Troubleshoot and maintain AC/DC motors, VFDs, servo motors, servo drives, proximity sensors, photo sensors, and limit switches. Understand and troubleshoot PLC input/output signals and basic ladder logic. Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control panel drawings. Attend machine breakdowns promptly and minimize production downtime. Conduct routine inspection of electrical systems and identify potential failures. Support machine installation, commissioning, and electrical modifications. Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance activities, and spare parts used. Follow electrical safety procedures, 5S, TPM, and maintenance standards. Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance teams for effective machine troubleshooting. Ensure machines are maintained in safe and reliable operating condition. Required SkillsMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience in SPM / automation machine maintenance. Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels. Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting. Knowledge of VFD, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors, timers, and control circuits. Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical circuits. Basic knowledge of automation and machine control systems. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
