Job description
A Chinese Commi 1 and Commi 2 are junior kitchen staff members responsible for food preparation, station setup (mise en place), and assisting senior chefs with cooking authentic Chinese dishes Experience in a Chinese kitchen or restaurant is preferred. Commis 1: 2–4 years of relevant experience. Commis 2: 1–2 years of relevant experience; freshers with culinary training may also be considered. Basic to good knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Good teamwork and communication skills. Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn. Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
