The role focuses on developing high performance coating systems that meet customer requirement, industry standards, regulatory requirement, & business objectives while supporting continuous product improvement & innovation. Key Responsibilities:Evaluate & select raw materials such as resin, pigment filler etc.Conduct formulation studies to achieve targeted properties such as corrosion resistance, chemical resistance etc.Analyse test data & prepare technical reports with recommendation. Support pilot scale production & manufacturing scale-up activities.Ensure smooth transfer of laboratory formulation to production.Audit of process to ensure production process as per formulation recommendation, as a cross functional activity with production team.Collaborate with production team to improve process efficiency & product consistency.Investigate coating failure & recommend corrective actions.Evaluate new raw materials & suppliers.
