We are looking for a dedicated Deck Cadet to join our team in Egypt. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who want to start a career in the maritime industry. Key Responsibilities:- Assisting Senior Officers: Support experienced deck officers with various tasks and learn from their expertise to gain hands-on knowledge of deck operations.- Safety Procedures: Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment on the vessel, including participating in safety drills and equipment checks.- Deck Maintenance: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the deck area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and ready for use.- Storing Supplies: Assist in the inventory management of supplies and equipment, making sure everything is accounted for and appropriately arranged for easy access.- Navigation Support: Under the guidance of senior crew members, assist in basic navigation tasks and familiarize yourself with navigational tools.Required Skills and Expectations:Candidates must have a minimum educational qualification of 10th grade. The ideal candidate should have a strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a maritime environment. Good communication skills are essential to work effectively with the team.
