Role & Responsibilities: 1. Develop P&ID along with process Engg. 2. Preparation of Instrument specifications for all field instruments as per P&ID meeting contract, process requirements. 3. Preparation of detailed specifications for Control panel / PLC / DCS based control / shutdown system, analyzers as per P&ID meeting contract, process requirements. 4. Preparation of Instrument hook up diagrams along with BOMs 5. Preparation of JB & Cable schedule, Electrical & Instrumentation cable tray layouts, Earthing layouts, Panel, JB, Instrument location drawings. 6. Preparation of control room layouts. 7. Voltage drop calculations. 8. Preparation of PLC programming documents like Input / output list, Control narrative, Logic diagrams, Control Schemes, Drives logic diagrams. 9. Preparation of BOM for Electrical & Instrumentation cable, cable tray, Cable glands, Adaptors & accessories. 10. Participation in HAZOP, SIL studies / review meetings with clients. 11. Review / preparation of single line diagram, Power & control wiring for MCC / PDB. 12. Review of vendor documents for all the Electrical / Instrumentation items, package equipment including SWAS, Burners & it s controllers. 13. Support to Marketing for proposal involving brief instrumentation item list meeting tender requirements. 14. Support to QAC, Field Engg. (Commissioning / SSBU), Construction as and when required. 15. Interaction with vendor and clients for drawing approvals. 16. Vendor development for new product requirement Critical Competencies of the job/Must Have Knowledge of Basic Instrumentation Engineering of Pressure / Temperature / Flow / Level measurement methods / Analyzers / control valves / BMS as applicable to Boilers & heater is essential. Basic Knowledge of control scheme / logic diagrams / PLC / DCS / UPS is essential. Knowledge of Hazardous area, SIL requirements / study, NFPA is essential. Thorough process knowledge of Oil & Gas Boilers & Heaters. Familiarity with electrical systems such as Drives, Motorized Actuators, LT MCC, Motors would be an advantage Written and Verbal communication, Approach to Cross functional team as interaction for data collection, it s follow up.
