Job Description / Responsibilities · Identify and develop new business opportunities in the HVAC/MEP and engineering services sector. · Identify potential clients, consultants, contractors, government departments, PSUs and institutional clients. · Generate leads through market research, references, networking, online portals and direct client interaction. · Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. · Regularly correspond and communicate with customers regarding enquiries, requirements, proposals and commercial matters. · Visit client offices, project sites and prospective customers for business development and requirement gathering. · Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical/project team for preparation of suitable technical and commercial proposals. · Track enquiries, tenders, RFQs and business opportunities from initial enquiry to order/award. · Study tender/RFQ requirements and coordinate internally for timely submission of bids and quotations. · Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, presentations and other business development documents. · Coordinate with management and technical teams for pricing, scope clarification, technical compliance and commercial submissions. · Follow up with clients for quotations, negotiations, approvals, work orders and payment-related coordination wherever required. · Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders and report important discussions and opportunities to management. · Maintain regular follow-up with prospective clients to convert enquiries into confirmed business. · Monitor market trends, competitors, upcoming projects and potential business opportunities. · Develop and maintain a database of clients, enquiries, tenders, quotations and business leads.
