As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, leading and mentoring a team of Relationship Managers, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the achievement of branch sales targets in the housing finance industry.JOB TITLE: Sales ManagerKEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Relationship Managers to achieve individual and team sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive Home Loan and LAP business growth within the assigned territory. Monitor team performance through regular reviews, provide guidance, and ensure productivity goals are achieved. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, connectors, DSAs, and other business associates. Drive customer acquisition and portfolio growth by identifying new business opportunities and market segments. Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance requirements, and process guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Credit, Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless customer service and business execution. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements. Manage sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and business MIS to track performance and improve outcomes. Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of sales team members.REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve business targets. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills. Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools. Ability to analyze market trends and develop growth strategies. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or any related field. 3-6 years of proven experience in Home Loans, LAP, Housing Finance, Banking, or NBFC sector. Prior experience in team handling and sales leadership is mandatory.
