Sales Officer (Digital Marketing Team)- API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient)-

Key Requirements

Strong understanding of API products, grades, specifications and applications

Experience in identifying and developing pharma customers, distributors and business partners

Knowledge of domestic and international API markets

Lead generation through LinkedIn, email, website enquiries and other digital channels

Strong customer follow-up and relationship management

Ability to understand customer requirements and coordinate for COA, specifications, regulatory documents and samples

Experience in preparing and negotiating quotations and commercial terms

Good knowledge of export sales and international business development

Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Proficiency in MS Office

Key Responsibilities

Develop new customers for API products in domestic and international markets.

Generate and qualify leads through digital platforms and industry databases.

Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into sales opportunities.

Develop relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and importers.

Coordinate with technical, regulatory, QA and commercial teams for customer requirements.

Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.

Track enquiries, samples, registrations and orders through CRM.

Conduct competitor and market analysis.

Attend/coordinate customer meetings, exhibitions and B2B industry events.

Achieve assigned sales, revenue and new customer acquisition targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Pharma/API industry experience is mandatory

Good understanding of the API sales cycle from lead generation to order conversion

Strong international business development exposure

Willing to travel for customer meetings and exhibitions

Target-oriented with strong follow-up skills
