Content & E-Commerce Management - Internship (WFH)

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Marketing and outreach:

1. Conduct secondary research to access data and create databases of MSMEs, sellers, and buyers engaged in trade in India and internationally

2. Engage in direct outreach to buyers and sellers (domestic and global businesses) for specific industry verticals and onboard them onto the platform

3. Assist customers with all essential information in the onboarding journey and encourage them to actively engage on the platform

4. Engage in field-based travel occasionally, if needed

5. Key outcomes: Number of buyers and sellers onboarded, and value of trade executed

B. Research and whitepaper development:

1. Conduct desk research on international trade topics, including trade agreements, non-tariff barriers, export controls, supply chain resilience, trade finance, and emerging market access issues

2. Support the drafting, editing, and formatting of whitepapers, policy briefs, and research reports

3. Synthesize data from sources such as WTO, ITC, World Bank, OECD, and national trade bodies into accessible, evidence-based narratives

4. Maintain and organize a database of research sources, trade statistics, and policy documents

5. Assist in literature reviews and background research for client-facing projects

6. Help develop infographics, charts, and data visualizations to accompany research outputs

7. Key outcomes: Papers linked to work done in collaboration with Impact Donor Agencies

C. Communications and digital presence:

1. Manage and grow TerrAxis Trade's social media presence across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms

2. Required qualifications:1. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace6. Experience in our focus verticals will be viewed favorablyB. Preferred skills and experience:1. Prior exposure to trade policy, customs, logistics, or international business (academic or professional)2. High people and persuasion skills3. Experience managing professional social media accounts or creating digital content5. Familiarity with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or similar)6. Basic data analysis skills and the ability to read and interpret trade statistics7. Knowledge of tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar for visual content creation8.
