Dialysis Technician Jobs in Luxembourg

Prepare dialysis machines, equipment and supplies before treatment. Verify patient identity, prescription and treatment requirements. Measure and record patients weight, temperature, blood pressure and pulse. Prepare patients for haemodialysis procedures. Assist with vascular-access care under authorised clinical supervision. Operate and monitor dialysis machines throughout treatment. Observe patients for complications, including low blood pressure, cramps, nausea or allergic reactions. Immediately report abnormal readings or changes in a patients condition to the nurse or physician. Record treatment details, machine readings and patient observations accurately. Clean, disinfect and sterilise dialysis equipment and treatment areas. Perform routine machine checks, calibration and basic troubleshooting. Test and monitor water-treatment systems according to safety standards. Follow infection-control, biomedical-waste and occupational-safety procedures. Maintain adequate stocks of dialysers, tubing, medicines and other consumables. Provide basic treatment-related guidance and emotional support to patients. Assist during dialysis-related emergencies according to established protocols.
