Finance Manager

Role: Own the complete finance, accounting, cash-flow, budgeting and compliance function of the company. Experience: 3–5+ years. We are looking for a young, hands-on finance professional with the ambition to grow into a key business leader, with a potential path to co-founder-level responsibility/economics in ~3 years, based on performance and ownership. Key Responsibilities & KPIs * Own accounting, bookkeeping, banking, vendor payments, petty cash, ledgers and reconciliations. * Maintain vendor ledgers, vendor communication and regular no-dues confirmations. * Own cash flow, payment planning and fund movement as per approved budgets. * Prepare and control budgets, with daily monitoring of raw material/COGS, variable costs and all major fixed costs including salaries and repairs & maintenance. * Be the single-point owner for budget adherence, immediately flagging and correcting deviations. * Prepare timely monthly MIS and company/subsidiary-level reporting. * Maintain all financial data, dashboards and records on a real-time basis. * Own statutory payments, compliances, internal audits and annual audits. * Coordinate with CA, auditors, Company Secretary and external consultants. * Manage banks, NBFCs/lenders, documentation and ongoing relationships. * Support management with profitability analysis, cost control, cash-flow planning and financial decision-making. * Build and improve finance systems, controls and processes as the company scales. Core Success Measures * Accurate books and MIS on time. * Strong cash-flow visibility and discipline. * Budgets made and followed rigorously. * COGS and operating costs within target. * Clean vendor reconciliations and no overdue surprises. * Zero avoidable compliance delays. * Smooth audits and lender/NBFC management. * Real-time financial visibility for management. What we are looking for: Someone who treats finance as a business ownership function, not just an accounting role — strong in daily execution, but equally capable of thinking about profitability, cash flow, and growth. Note: Some travel may be required as part of the role, including visits to outlets, events, and marketing activities.
