Python Backend Intern (AI / OpenAI Integration)

We’re looking for a Python Backend Intern who is excited about building real-world AI-powered products. You’ll work closely with the founding and engineering team to build, integrate, and scale backend systems—especially OpenAI-powered features—used by live customers.

This is a hands-on role, not a shadowing internship.

Required Skills

Strong fundamentals in Python

Experience with at least one backend framework:

Django / Django Rest Framework

FastAPI

Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI APIs

Understanding of REST APIs and JSON

Basic knowledge of databases and ORM concepts

Familiarity with Git / GitHub

Ability to read documentation and experiment independently
