About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise industrial sewing machine service engineers and technicians.

2. Assign daily service calls and customer complaints to service engineers.

3. Monitor pending complaints and ensure their timely resolution.

4. Guide engineers in resolving complex technical issues.

5. Handle customer escalations related to machine breakdowns and service issues.

6. Oversee machine installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities.

7. Review daily service reports and monitor engineer performance.

8. Coordinate with customers regarding breakdowns, maintenance, and technical support.

9. Coordinate with the Sales and Spare Parts teams to address technical and spare parts requirements.

10. Train and guide junior service engineers and technicians.

11. Identify opportunities to improve service response time and customer satisfaction.

12. Support pan-India service operations as required.

1. Candidates should have practical knowledge of single-needle lockstitch, double-needle, multi-needle, chainstitch, overlock, interlock, bartack, buttonhole, button stitch, feed-off-the-arm, pattern sewing, programmable sewing, and computerized and automatic industrial sewing machines.

2. Candidates should be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to machine timing, stitch quality, thread breakage, feeding problems, needle issues, mechanical settings, electronic faults, motor issues, machine performance, and preventive maintenance.
