Accounts Officer / Accounts Manager Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer / Accounts Manager to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, MIS reporting, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical exposure in handling accounts independently, ensuring compliance accuracy, and supporting management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling complete accounting operations up to finalization of Balance Sheet
• Managing day-to-day accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledger scrutiny
• Preparation of MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports
• Bank reconciliation, party reconciliation, and inter-company/sister concern reconciliation
• Managing statutory compliances including:
• GST
• Income Tax / TDS
• Professional Tax
• PF & ESIC
• Payroll processing and salary management
• Budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial monitoring
• Maintaining accurate books of accounts and supporting audits
• Stock reporting and financial data management
• Coordination with auditors, consultants, and banks

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial Accounting
• GST Compliance
• Taxation
• Payroll Processing
• MIS Reporting
• Reconciliation Processes
• Finalization of Accounts
• Hands-on experience in:
• Tally ERP
• MS Excel (Advanced preferred)
• MS Word & PowerPoint
• Good understanding of statutory and financial compliance procedures

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent
• 515+ years of practical accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing, Factory like textile, automobile, trading, infrastructure, or service industries preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and accountability
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
