Summary We are looking for a GCP Data Architect with strong experience in enterprise data management, data warehousing, data modelling and cloud architecture. The role involves designing scalable GCP data solutions, leading complex data initiatives and translating business requirements into technical architecture.

Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise data solutions on GCP Cloud across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.

Develop enterprise data models and define architecture for complex data warehousing and BI implementations.

Evaluate databases, cloud technologies and integration approaches to recommend scalable solutions.

Identify migration risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies for complex data migration projects.

Lead technical and development teams in designing and implementing complex data systems.

Translate business requirements into technical requirements, data architecture and solution documentation.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse and enterprise data management, with 4+ years in GCP technical/solution architecture.

35 years of Enterprise Data Modelling experience with tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio or PowerDesigner.

Strong experience with databases including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL and BigQuery.

Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker and cloud deployment technologies.

Strong understanding of data integration, data governance, data quality, master data management and data migration.
