Fashion Design And Merchandising - Internship

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and product development: Assist with trend and competitor research, mood boards, color stories, silhouette references, collection concepts, garment detailing, and basic design documentation

2. Sampling and production: Coordinate with the sampling team, masters, and tailors; follow up on samples; maintain sample status; check garments against references; note corrections; and help ensure samples are completed within timelines

3. Fabric, trim, and sourcing: Research fabrics, trims, buttons, zippers, embellishments, and other materials; coordinate with vendors; maintain swatches and sourcing records; and help identify suitable materials for upcoming designs

4. Quality and product checks: Assist in checking garment construction, measurements, finishing, fit, color, fabric, and detailing before products move to shoots, production, or listings

5. Styling and shoot coordination: Help prepare looks for shoots, organize garments and accessories, create styling references, coordinate samples, and assist the creative team during campaign and product shoots

6. Content and creative: Participate in brainstorming for campaigns, social media, Pinterest, website creatives, launches, and seasonal concepts; help the team research references and turn fashion trends into brand-relevant ideas

7. Marketing support: Assist with competitor research, influencer research, campaign planning, product launches, collaborations, and other ongoing marketing activities

8. E-commerce and product listings: Help organize product information such as garment details, fabrics, colors, sizes, features, and styling notes required for website and marketplace listings

9. Inventory and sample management: Maintain an organized record of samples, garments, fabrics, trims, and shoot pieces, including movement between departments

10. Cross-department coordination: Follow up with different teams to ensure information, samples, and materials move smoothly from concept to sourcing to sampling to production to shoot to marketing to launch

11. Daily reporting and tracking: Maintain assigned trackers, update task progress, flag delays or issues, and communicate daily updates to the relevant team members

12.
