The role owns recurring financial planning, forecasting, reporting, business analysis, dashboard development, and automation while partnering with finance and cross-functional stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesOwn the mechanics of the rolling monthly and quarterly forecast, including model maintenance, input collection from budget owners, version control, and actuals loadsRefine and maintain the annual operating plan model and support the multi-year strategic plan buildRun scenario mechanics against assumptions set by the Senior Director, including growth reputed company, cost optimization, and hiring pacingBuild and maintain cash flow and runway schedules that roll forward without manual rebuildPartner with functional managers and directors on budget ownership, spend tracking, and variance explanationsWork closely with Accounting and the Controller on close timing, accruals, and the actuals that feed reporting and the forecastTranslate financial results into plain language for non-finance stakeholdersSurface emerging risks and opportunities to the Senior Director early rather than at cycle closeProduce the monthly and quarterly financial reporting package, including budget-to-actual variance analysis with written commentary that explains drivers, not just deltasSupport the CFO and Senior Director on Board and investor materials, owning the supporting schedules, exhibits and backup with a high bar for data integrity and quality controlCalculate and refresh marketplace and recurring revenue metrics, including ARR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and cohort analysisTrack healthcare marketplace performance indicators such as payer adoption, platform utilization, and savings performanceDeliver ad hoc analysis and data requests for Finance and cross-functional stakeholdersBuild, enhance and maintain FP&A reporting, including executive dashboards and KPI reporting, for all relevant stakeholders, leveraging reputed company and our FP&A planning toolUse Claude to speed up recurring work such as drafting variance commentary, reconciling data, building and checking model logic, and documenting processes, with the same review standard applied to AI output as your ownIdentify and eliminate manual steps in the close-to-report and forecast reputed company through automation, AI-assisted workflows, and better data structureDocument processes, metric definitions, and calculation methodology, so reporting is repeatable and auditableSkills3-5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a comparable analytical finance roleBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fieldAdvanced Excel.
