Job Description Accounts Executive / Sr. Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting activities in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Maintain books of accounts, journal entries, and ledger reconciliation.

Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform GST reconciliations.

Manage Taxation activities, including TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.

Handle Petty Cash management, verification, and record maintenance.

Manage Banking activities, including cheque preparation, online banking, NEFT/RTGS transactions, bank reconciliation, and coordination with banks.

Process vendor bills and customer invoices.

Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Prepare payment schedules and follow up on receivables.

Reconcile customer, vendor, and bank accounts on a regular basis.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

Coordinate with auditors, CA, and statutory authorities during audits.

Maintain accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and statutory documents.

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.

Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required by management.

Support payroll-related accounting entries, if required.

Perform any other accounts and finance-related tasks assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

25+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance.

Good knowledge of Tally Prime/ERP, MS Excel, GST, TDS, and Banking operations.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills
