Fiction Writer (Romance, Dark Romance, Romantasy, Horror & Thriller) – Internship To Full-Time - Internship

About the internship:We're looking for genre fiction writers who read as much as they write. If you've binged romance, dark romance, romantasy, horror, or psychological thrillers, understand their tropes, and can craft a hook that keeps readers up past midnight, this role is for you.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Write original fiction, including short stories, serialized chapters, and full-length books, across romance, dark romance, romantasy, horror, and psychological thriller genres.

2. Develop plots, characters, and story outlines, including mind maps, chapter plans, cliffhangers, and story arcs.

3. Research current genre trends, popular tropes, and bestselling titles to inform new content.

4. Edit and proofread your own work and the work of other writers.

5. Write blurbs, book descriptions, blog posts, and social media captions for stories and books.

6. Engage actively with readers and writers on Instagram and Reddit by connecting with 100+ new users and sending 500+ messages per day to grow the community.

7. Use AI writing tools, Canva, and AI image-generation tools to support content creation and design.

8. Collaborate with the design team on image selection, book cover concepts, and basic video editing.

9. Write memoirs and non-fiction content as a ghostwriter, accounting for approximately 10-15% of the workload.

Internship Details:

1. Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai (work from office only).

2. Type: Full-time, in-office internship.

3. Duration: 3 months, followed by a full-time offer based on performance.

4. Start Date: Immediate.

5. Stipend: 5,000- 10,000 per month.

6. Full-Time Offer: 3,00,000- 3,50,000 per annum.
