Position Marketing Executive – Rooftop Solar / PM Surya Ghar Location Patna, Bihar – Field/Door-to-Door Employment Type Full-Time | Field Sales We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Marketing Executive who will work across Patna and meet residential customers door-to-door to create awareness about the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and help eligible homeowners understand and initiate the rooftop solar installation process. The Executive will be responsible for generating genuine customer enquiries, explaining the solar solution and applicable government scheme benefits, assisting customers with registration/onboarding on the official PM Surya Ghar portal, and coordinating qualified leads with the company's sales and installation team. 1. Door-to-Door Customer Visits - Visit residential areas across assigned locations in Patna. - Meet homeowners and identify households with suitable rooftop space. - Understand the customer's current electricity consumption and approximate monthly electricity bill. - Explain the benefits of rooftop solar in simple Hindi/local language. - Identify customers who are genuinely interested in installing solar. 2. PM Surya Ghar Scheme Awareness Explain to customers: - What is PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. - Who may be eligible to apply. - How rooftop solar can reduce electricity expenses. - How the government subsidy works, subject to applicable government rules and eligibility. - Basic information about on-grid solar systems. - Net-metering process. - Financing/loan options, where applicable. - Approximate system sizes such as 2 kW, 3 kW, 5 kW, based on customer requirements. Important: The Executive must not promise subsidy approval, loan approval, guaranteed savings or a fixed government benefit unless officially applicable to the customer's case. 📱 3. Customer Onboarding The Executive will assist eligible/interested customers with: - Creating/registering the customer's application on the official PM Surya Ghar portal. - Entering the customer's basic information accurately. - Capturing required electricity connection/consumer information. - Ensuring that the customer's mobile number and other information are entered correctly. - Explaining the next steps after registration. - Helping the customer understand the documents required for the process. - Recording the customer's application/reference number. Customer consent and privacy must be maintained at every stage. 📋 4. Lead Generation & Data Collection Every genuine enquiry should be recorded in the company's CRM. The Executive should capture: - Customer Name - Mobile Number - Complete Address - Area/Locality - PIN Code - Electricity Board/DISCOM - Consumer Number - Approximate Monthly Electricity Bill - Required Solar Capacity - Rooftop Availability - Customer's Preferred Contact Time - PM Surya Ghar Application Number, once available - Customer Interest Level - Remarks Lead Classification 🔥 HOT – Customer wants quotation/site visit/loan/installation information. 🟠 WARM – Customer interested but needs additional information/family discussion. 🔵 COLD – Customer wants information but is not currently ready. 🏠 5. Site Visit Coordination For qualified customers: - Coordinate with the technical team for site survey. - Confirm customer availability. - Provide accurate site information to the technical team. - Follow up after the survey. - Help move the customer toward quotation and installation. The Marketing Executive should not provide technical commitments beyond the company's approved specifications and quotation. 📞 6. Customer Follow-Up The Executive will: - Follow up with customers after registration. - Follow up on quotation. - Coordinate site survey. - Follow up on documentation. - Coordinate with the loan/finance team where applicable. - Maintain regular communication until the customer converts or declines. 📊 7. Daily Reporting The Executive must submit a daily field report containing: KPI Daily Target* Houses/Customers Visited 40–60 Meaningful Conversations 20+ Qualified Solar Leads 5–10 PM Surya Ghar Registrations 2–5 Site Visit Requests 1–3 Follow-ups 10–20
