Engineering Stores Specialist

An Engineering Stores Specialist, to manages plant maintenance inventory, spare parts, and technical goods. To ensure high reliability plant operations by maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating procurement, and issuing critical mechanical and electrical components for site maintenance.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Oversee receipt, physical verification, barcoding, and location tracking of incoming technical and engineering spares.

Stock Control: Maintain minimum maximum stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, and prevent stock outs of critical plant machinery components.

Operations: Update inventory databases, process material requisitions, goods receipts and goods issues or internal platforms.

Cross and Functional Coordination: Partner with maintenance engineers, reliability teams, and plant managers to issue required spare parts for scheduled or breakdown maintenance.

Vendor and Procurement Liaison: Assist procurement teams with technical goods tracking, expediting delayed orders, and processing vendor returns or warranties.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure storehouse housekeeping adheres to methodology and compliance standards for hazardous or sensitive industrial parts.
