About the job:

As an Instagram Manager at Budding Mariners, you will play a crucial role in building our brand presence and growing our online community. We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of social media trends and a knack for creating engaging content. Your proficiency in English will help you communicate effectively with our audience and represent our brand voice across all posts and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Instagram content strategies to increase followers, reach, and engagement

2. Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar for posts, Reels, Stories, and carousels

3. Create and edit high-quality photos and short-form videos using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere Pro

4. Write compelling captions, hooks, and relevant hashtags that align with our brand voice

5. Respond to comments, DMs, and enquiries promptly and professionally

6. Track Instagram analytics using Meta Business Suite and generate weekly performance reports in MS Excel or Google Sheets

7. Stay updated on trending audios, formats, and competitor pages to keep our content fresh and innovative

8. Collaborate with the team to cover events, student activities, and announcements

9. Demonstrate exceptional creativity and a passion for the maritime industry
