Fintoric Capital is an algorithmic trading and quantitative finance firm. We build, backtest, and run systematic options trading strategies on Nifty/NSE F&O markets, backed by in-house trading infrastructure, order management systems, and data pipelines.

About the Role

We're looking for Data Analytics interns to work with our quant/trading team on real trading data — analyzing historical options data, supporting strategy backtests, and using Python (and AI tools like Claude) to speed up research.

Responsibilities

•Analyze large volumes of historical Nifty/NSE F&O options data

•Build and maintain Python scripts/notebooks for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis using pandas and other data science libraries

•Write SQL queries to extract and join data across internal trading databases

•Support backtesting workflows and strategy research with clean, reliable data pipelines

•Use Claude (or similar LLMs) to accelerate analysis — effective prompting, automating repetitive tasks, AI-assisted coding

•Present findings clearly to the trading/quant team

Requirements

•Strong fundamentals in Python

•Hands-on experience with pandas and other data science libraries (numpy, matplotlib, etc.)

•SQL knowledge is a plus

•Familiarity with Claude or other LLMs, with a basic understanding of prompt engineering

•Comfort working with large or messy datasets; an analytical, detail-oriented mindset

•Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

•Interest in financial markets/quant trading is a bonus, not mandatory

•Willing to work on Saturdays
