Team Member - Master Data Management

Position Description

Business Division: Shared Services Department: Finance and Accounts Location: Udaipur

Position Title: Team Member Master Data Management Level: E2 E4 Reporting to (Title): Lead Master Data Management

Position Purpose

The incumbent will be required to manage end-to-end master data services across functions as a team member along with other master data management experts to deliver the implementation of master data services

Strategic Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

Receive, review and update Master Data Request (webform / template form / tool)Report to Team Lead on all requests which are incomplete / incorrect or any clarifications if requiredCheck if Master data record exists in the ERP system for new requestsDetermine if Master data record request complies with standard defined rulesDetermine Open Master data records for Transaction & PositionsCollaborate with all MDM stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to a centralized MDM modelNotify Requesters & stakeholders on the status of the requests (create, modify, block & unblock)Setting up records in the ERP systemCreate & modify Master records basis the requested details along with logic & standards.Clean-up of Master data domains (Vendor, Material, Customer & Finance Master Data)Classify & Categorize Materials to standard taxonomy and classification codesSupporting all project related queries and handling requests from key stake holdersShould able to follow the process flowCommunicate to the originator on the status update (reasons for delay)Coordinate with stake holders (internal & Client)Determine all tasks to be completed and report to internal as well client side stake holdersSupports other initiatives in the larger MDM Team

Education Qualification

B.Com and CA / CMAMBA (Finance) full time

Work Experience

2 4 years experience with at least 1-2 years experience in a Master Data roleKnowledge of SAP / S4 HANA will be an added advantage

Functional Competencies

Domain knowledge General Accounting, Closing, Cost Center, Profit Center & Reporting Expert in MS Excel familiar with functions, shortcuts, complex formula writing Advanced analytical and Problem solving skills Good knowledge of master data supporting business requirements Solid knowledge of master data systems/processes/tools
