The opportunity

We are inviting qualified tutors, coaches and subject experts across India to join Tutcart as independent educators. This is a flexible, part-time contract opportunity—not salaried employment. You decide which suitable opportunities to accept and teach online, offline or in a hybrid format where available.

What you will do

• Create an accurate educator profile and complete qualification and identity verification.
• Deliver clear, engaging one-to-one or small-group sessions in your verified subject areas.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice work or session material appropriate to the learner’s goals.
• Record attendance, progress and agreed next steps through Tutcart.
• Communicate reliably with learners, parents and the Tutcart support team.
• Follow Tutcart’s safeguarding, privacy, conduct, cancellation and payment rules.
• Participate in a short teaching demo and quality review before activation.

• School and college academics: Mathematics, Science, Languages, Commerce and Humanities.
• Entrance and competitive examinations.
• Coding, data, design, business and other professional skills.
• Music, dance, visual arts and creative learning.
• Sports, fitness, yoga and coaching disciplines.

What we look for

• Demonstrable subject expertise; relevant qualifications, certifications or portfolio evidence.
• Prior teaching, coaching or mentoring experience is preferred. Exceptional first-time tutors with strong evidence may apply.
• The ability to explain concepts patiently and adapt to different learners.
• Reliable communication and professional follow-through.
• A suitable device, internet connection and quiet teaching environment for online sessions.
• Availability during evenings and/or weekends is especially useful.
• Willingness to complete verification and sign Tutcart’s Tutor Service Agreement.

How selection works

Application → qualification review → short teaching demo → verification → contract and onboarding.

Important

Tutors join as independent contractors. Session opportunities and earnings depend on subject demand, availability, agreed rates and completed sessions; Tutcart does not guarantee a minimum volume of learners or income. Any beta or founding-educator benefits will be confirmed in writing during onboarding.
