Mango Giraffe builds AI filmmaking infrastructure for long-form storytelling. We work with major studios. Our product handles the parts that break when a studio tries to make a film this way: keeping a character's face the same across 200 shots, giving a director control over a camera move, getting from a locked script to footage a studio will put on screen.

Adoption takes more than tools, though. There's the pipeline, the cost structure, and the people inside a studio who want this to work and don't know where to start. We're working on all of it. This role exists because there's more of it than three founders can carry.

The work

Decks. Investor, studio, partner. You write the argument and the slides.

Cold outbound to studios and production heads, here and abroad. Find the person, write the mail that gets a reply, get the meeting.

Fix what's broken. A delivery slipping, a process nobody owns, a number nobody tracks. You take it and hand it back working.

Build systems for the fires that keep coming back, so they stop needing a person.

Chase answers out of people who don't report to you. Founders included.

Who we're looking for

You break a problem down to its constraints before you look at how anyone else solved it.

High agency. You've built or run something nobody asked you to, and it had your name on it.

You write well. Most of this job happens in writing.

You finish. Handing work to someone else doesn't close it.

One to three years somewhere demanding. Or none, if you've built something we can look at.

You don't need a film background. You do need to find the industry interesting.

What this isn't

Calendars, travel, meeting notes, inbox. This isn't an EA role with a better title.

Why take it

A few months here shows you fundraising, studio sales, hiring, pricing and delivery from the inside. People who do this well tend to leave and start their own companies. If that's your plan, say so when you apply.
