Project Executive Engineer

Project Executive Engineer provides overarching leadership, strategic direction, and financial oversight for multiple complex engineering or infrastructure projects simultaneously. You will bridge the gap between field execution and corporate executive goals, guiding project managers and engineering teams, negotiating major contracts, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and profitability standards.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Portfolio & Project Leadership: Oversee multiple large-scale projects simultaneously across their entire lifecyclefrom pre-construction and design through execution and closeout.

Financial & P&L Accountability: Maintain bottom-line profit accountability, manage forecasting, review project budgets, approve major estimates, and monitor cash flow and accounts receivable.

Contract Negotiation & Risk Management: Review and negotiate complex contracts, change orders, and legal provisions with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers. Identify high-level project risks and deploy mitigation plans.

Cross-Functional & Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering, finance, field operations, and estimating departments. Ensure engineering designs comply with local, national, and industry regulatory codes.

Client & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary executive point of contact for key clients, building long-term partnerships and driving client satisfaction.

Team Mentorship & Development: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate project managers, senior engineers, and field staff to build high-performing teams.

Safety & Compliance: Champion corporate safety programs, enforcing strict adherence to OSHA policies and internal safety manuals.
