SENIOR UI-UX DEVELOPER (5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)

GALT Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for Senior UI-UX Developers who can design and develop products from the scratch and build and lead a team of UI-UX Developers.

Job Profile:

The Senior UI / UX Developer will be partnering with engineers, developers and marketers to collaborate and iterate on the user experience of our products, conduct user research and create wireframes and designs. To accomplish this, he/she must be able articulate and illustrate solutions. The ability to prototype and implement proposals combined with industry practices and focus group research is also critical to the success of this role and a high level of Angular, HTML and CSS expertise is required. The Senior UI/UX Developer could have 2-3 Developers reporting to him/her.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and Participate in all phases of front end projects including requirements gathering, design, development, usability testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Improve and optimize GALT’s CSS and HTML standards for production and creative teams, using the principles of progressive enhancement for modern and legacy browsers
• Research and recommend CSS / JavaScript frameworks such as bootstrap with the aim of improving the quality, consistency and speed of our production process
• Communicating scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs with other members of the team
• Understanding GALT products and end user workflows that enable productivity and task completion
• Build high levels of ownership of systems within the team
• Provide expert support to our creative and production teams to balance usability and visual appeal
• Ensure development is in accordance with style guides and other requirements of the client/user
• Design/develop the java script library and front end pages from scratch

Candidate Profile:

General Skills:

• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Worked in start-up environment with high levels of ownership and commitment
• Excellent coding skills- should be able to convert design into code fluently and passionate about producing good quality, efficient code
• Experience in designing rich internet applications using the latest web standards and cross-browser compatible design
• Should be able to estimate and plan a project of reasonable size
• Should not be averse to testing your own code to ensure high quality delivery
• Should be able to define best practices in the team
• Should have good code review skills
• Have the passion and drive to build a world class product
• Working experience with large scale front end architectures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English along with client facing experience

Key Technology Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in UI and UX development with Angular6/Angular 4, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Typescript skills
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, JQuery etc.
• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality commercial enterprise products
• Strong experience with media queries and Bootstrap
• Strong knowledge of CSS animations
• Proficient with graphic design tools - Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience in designing rich internet applications using the latest web standards and cross-browser compatible design
• Good knowledge in using restful web services and should be good enough to get involved in design discussions for the product
• Knowledge in Object-oriented Programming and Concepts
• Familiar with software design, coding, unit test, integration test.
• Able to provide accurate effort estimates and delivers on-time.

Good to Have:

• Experience in building applications with responsive design for mobile screens.
• Experience in mentoring (technical) a team of 3-4 developers

Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent from reputed University
