Job Title: Logistics ExecutiveLocation: AmritsarExperience Required: 3+ yearsJob Type: Full-timeDepartment: Commercial OperationsReports To: Reporting Manager / General Manager / DirectorsJob Summary (Simple):The Logistics Executive is responsible for handling shipments and transportation work. This includes booking containers, coordinating with shipping partners, tracking shipments, handling documents, negotiating freight rates, and making sure goods are delivered on time without issues.Key Responsibilities (Simple Words):Logistics Work (Main Role):Share daily freight rate updates with internal teamsNegotiate ocean freight rates and get quotationsBook vessels and containersUpdate daily shipment status in ExcelMonitor container loading and unloadingTrack container stuffing activitiesFollow up on export documentsCoordinate with operations team, CHA, forwarders, and vendorsTrack shipments until they reach the final destinationHandle third-party certificationsCheck freight and transport bills and coordinate with the Accounts teamTrack and report extra local chargesHandle shipment-related problems or delaysFollow up with forwarders for DO release and container bookingsPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reportsReporting & Documentation:Prepare regular reports on logistics activitiesMaintain proper files, documents, and recordsAd-hoc & Support Work:Help with any additional work as required by managementPrepare special reports for the Reporting Manager, Directors, or MDHelp create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Attend meetings and visits with vendors, CHA, and forwarders when requiredWorking Relationships:Coordinate with customers, suppliers, service providersWork closely with internal teams and managementQualification & Experience (Simple):Graduate or Diploma holder3 years experience after qualificationExperience in Shipping Line / Forwarder / CHAStrong knowledge of Excel and MS OfficeGood communication and coordination skillsGood time management and reporting skillsAttention to detail and accuracyOther Requirements:Male candidatesAge: 25–40 yearsAbility to prepare accurate reportsGood document handling and official communication skillsKey Skills Needed:Analytical thinking – able to solve logistics problemsReliability & responsibilityStrong logistics and technical knowledgeAccuracy and attention to detail
