Hiring Junior Accountant (Tiruppur)

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT :

Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards, and support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting systems, tax compliance, and payroll processing for U.S.-based entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with U.S. regulations using tools like ADP
• Manage tax-related activities including preparation/support for filings with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
• Prepare and file forms such as W-2, 1099, and assist with 941/940 filings
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure audit readiness
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management
• Must know Tally

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Experience : 1-2 years
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA Inter preferred)
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and U.S. accounting practices
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Experience in payroll processing and U.S. tax compliance
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills for working with U.S.-based clients/teams
• Tally, GST

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with U.S.-based companies
• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting
• Exposure to audit processes
• Knowledge of SaaS or consulting business accounting
