Chief Technology Officer

About the job:We are looking for a hands-on, driven Chief Technology Officer to join our founding team. This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who can build, lead, and scale technology from the ground up. The selected candidate will work closely with the founders to shape the company's technical direction and own the entire product and engineering function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute the company's technology strategy, selecting the right tools, platforms, and architecture for current and future needs.

2. Own end-to-end development of the web and mobile applications, ensuring timely delivery of new features.

3. Manage backend architecture, databases, and cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.

4. Oversee frontend development, ensuring a fast, responsive, and user-friendly product experience.

5. Build, lead, and mentor the technical team, setting clear goals and reviewing performance.

6. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, manage timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.

7. Implement security best practices and robust testing processes to maintain product stability and protect user data.

8. Manage third-party integrations (payments, APIs, notifications) and identify opportunities for automation and AI.

9. Maintain technical documentation and reporting systems to support data-driven decision-making.

10.
