Salary Range: 18 LPA to 24 LPA

A leading Electrical & Engineering Manufacturing organisation is looking for an accomplished Manager/Senior Manager Purchase to lead its procurement function and drive strategic sourcing, cost optimisation and supply-chain excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing, process of rate contracts.

• Drive cost optimisation, negotiations and commercial excellence.

• Build strong vendor partnerships and ensure quality & timely supplies.

• Strengthen procurement systems, processes and supplier performance.

• Partner with Manufacturing, Projects, Finance and Operations.

• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.

• Lead preparation of the procurement budget and monitor/ control departmental expenses.

• Establish procurement policies related to master production schedule.

• Undertake vendor development activities and leverage long-term relationships with vendors.

• Oversee and supervise bidding and negotiation process and award contracts to vendors.

• Coordination with the Unit Heads/ Commercial Heads for delivery of significant and high value purchase items at the Units.

Ideal Profile:

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.

• Experience in Electrical / Engineering / Manufacturing industry preferred.

• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, negotiations and cost management.

• Proven leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities.
