Deputy Manager Quality (QA/QC)

We are seeking a Deputy Manager Quality (QA/QC) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities within our renewable energy projects, specifically focusing on solar energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing QA/QC activities related to civil, structural, electrical, and commissioning works. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include preparing and implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), method statements, and quality procedures. The Deputy Manager will conduct site inspections, quality audits, and material inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards. Additionally, the role involves handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the closure of quality observations.

Collaboration is key in this position, as the Deputy Manager will coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams to ensure quality compliance during testing, commissioning, and project handover. A strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and solar project quality requirements is essential, along with familiarity with IS Codes, IEC Standards, and CEA Regulations.

Candidates should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering and have experience in NCR management, CAPA, audits, and quality documentation. Experience in solar, EPC, or infrastructure projects is preferred. This position is based at the project site in Maharashtra, and we are looking for individuals with a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field.
