Chess Teacher - Fresher (Part Time)

About the job:Openhouse is looking for chess teachers to run group chess classes for children aged 5-12 at our learning centres and apartment communities in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach chess rules, tactics, puzzles, and practice games in group classes using the Openhouse chess curriculum.

2. Plan each session's lesson, puzzles, and game time.

3. Keep a record of each child's progress and share updates with parents.

4. Meet parents at feedback sessions, workshops and events.

5. Help the centre team with trial classes and admissions.

6. Prepare children for in-house tournaments and showcases, and attend training and team meetings.

Time Commitment:

Any 5 days of the week (20 hours per week, 4 hours a day):

1. Weekday timings: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

2. Weekend timings: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Location:

1. Classes are held across Bangalore at learning centres or apartment complexes.
