Job Title: Java Developer with KafkaLocation: HyderabadExperience: 4–9 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building microservices, implementing event-driven architectures, and working with distributed systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.Build and manage event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.Required Skills5–8 years of experience in Java application development.Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups).Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.Strong understanding of multithreading, collections, and JVM concepts.Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.Knowledge of messaging systems and integration patterns.Experience working in Agile development environments.
