Record to Report Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Record to Report Analyst to join our finance team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on the Record to Report (RTR) process. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and will involve working closely with various departments to facilitate month-end close activities and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Record to Report process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
• Handle fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and amortization calculations.
• Prepare and review accruals and ensure proper cash management practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
• Utilize SAP for financial reporting and data management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of RTR processes and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in fixed asset accounting and related financial practices.
• Experience with month-end close and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
