POSITION PURPOSE

To own the technical response to enquiries and the engineering industrialisation of new products end to end feasibility, BOM, process flow, tooling and time estimation, customer technical interface and APQP delivery and to act as the senior technical authority supporting Business Development in winning work that Hical can build profitably and compliantly.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Minimum: Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical EngineeringPreferred:E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering

Experience

Minimum 6 years of experience in a design, proposal, NPD or manufacturing engineering role in an engineering manufacturing environment.Experience in an aerospace, defence or space industry organisation is mandatory; AS9100 certified organisation preferred.Demonstrated independent ownership of RFQ technical packages and of NPD projects through formal gate reviews.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

The Senior Engineer must have in-depth, independent command of at least two of Hicals product categories and working competence across the others. Candidates with hands-on working experience in one or more of these product categories will be strongly preferred.
