Event Sales Intern

Role Overview : We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated Event Sales Intern who is interested in building a career in events, exhibitions, sales, business development, travel, and tourism. The intern will work closely with the Exhibition Sales team and gain hands-on experience in lead generation, market research, exhibitor outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, proposal sharing, and sales follow-ups. Key Responsibilities • Research and extract relevant company and contact information from online sources to build a database of potential exhibitors and clients. • Identify companies, organizations, and decision-makers from the travel, tourism, hospitality, exhibitions, and related industries. • Make outbound/cold calls to collected leads to identify the right Point of Contact (POC) for exhibition and participation proposals. • Verify and update contact details, including name, designation, phone number, email ID, company details, and other relevant information. • Contact potential exhibitors to understand their interest and requirements and maintain accurate lead information. • Conduct mass email campaigns to prospective exhibitors and relevant industry contacts with exhibition proposals, invitations, and promotional information. • Follow up with prospects through calls and emails to generate interest and identify potential business opportunities. • Maintain and regularly update lead databases, spreadsheets, and CRM records with the latest information and follow-up status. • Assist the Exhibition Sales team in generating new exhibitor leads through online research, databases, directories, and other sources. • Support the team in preparing and sharing exhibition proposals, participation details, and other relevant communication with prospective exhibitors.
