Sales Manager - Full Time

Job PurposeWe are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with prior experience in government-sector sales, tendering and business development. The candidate will be responsible for identifying government business opportunities, managing tenders and developing relationships with government departments and PSUs.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities with government departments, PSUs, railways, municipal corporations and other government organizations.Handle government tenders through GeM, CPPP and other e-procurement portals.Prepare and submit quotations, commercial proposals, technical bids and tender documents.Coordinate with government officials, consultants and contractors regarding business opportunities.Follow up on submitted tenders, quotations, purchase orders and payment status.Analyze tender requirements, eligibility criteria and commercial terms.Coordinate with internal departments for technical specifications, costing and documentation.Maintain records of tenders, enquiries, orders and customer interactions.Achieve assigned sales targets and generate new business opportunities.Conduct market research to identify upcoming government projects and tenders.Required Skills & QualificationsGraduate in any discipline; an MBA in Sales or Marketing is preferred.5-7 years of experience in government-sector sales or tendering.Previous experience dealing with government departments, PSUs or infrastructure projects.Knowledge of GeM, e-tendering and government procurement procedures.Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and email communication.Ability to independently manage sales enquiries and tender submissions.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in the following sectors will be preferred:Portable cabins and prefabricated structuresModular buildings and site officesConstruction and infrastructureGovernment tenders and public-sector projectsIndustrial and infrastructure equipment.Experience8 - 10 YearsNo. of Openings2EducationGraduate (B.Com)RoleSales ManagerIndustry TypeManufacturing / Production / QualityGenderMaleJob CountryIndiaType of JobFull TimeWork Location TypeWork from OfficeFace Interview LocationM/s Borkar Polymers Office no. 211/212, 2nd floor, Infinity square building, opp. Varun industrial estate, Near Golani naka, Vasai east, Palghar district, Maharashtra - 401208
