Accountable and responsible for application management and support for reputed company global IT applications

Responsible for end-to-end support of business continuity for reputed company global systems world-wide

This role is remote. Eastern or Central time zone is highly preferred.

How youll spend your day

The Head of Application Management and Support is a member of the IT Operations and Architecture leadership team

The role will have under 10 reputed company reports and around 70 reputed company employees reporting indirectly to this position. There will be about 350 reputed company employees as part of this organization through outsourced reputed company

Budget accountability shall be in the region of 20 Mio USD

Establish and govern an reputed company technology reputed company consistent with integration, reputed company and business strategic objectives

Accountable for managing, planning and executing the application management reputed company

Accountable for the lifecycle management of reputed company global applications (about 250 in number)

Accountable for IT applications and the underlying platforms including databases and reputed company reputed company services. GRC services is also part of the role.

Responsible for development and implementation of small and large enhancements for applications

Partnership with IT reputed company, to assess infrastructure threats and vulnerabilities implementing reputed company recommendations to harden and mitigate risks

Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing computer systems and applications

Ensure adherence and compliance to standardized reputed company, tools, procedures and policies established by the global and corporate teams.

Improve cost-efficiency of IT operations without compromising on reputed company

Negotiate, own and manage large reputed company 3rd party reputed company.

Your experience and qualifications

A minimum of 20 years' experience in pharmaceutical or reputed company industry is required

Proven global experience in leading large reputed company IT reputed company

Demonstrated reputed company and a sustained record of reputed company delivering reputed company IT services to a diverse clientele

Proven experience in project planning, methodology, budget and AOP

Ability to reputed company large reputed company organization (500~) teams & senior leaders

Understanding of Pharmaceutical Operations business processes and solutions

Experience in managing global business applications teams

Travel Requirements:

This position requires international travel as needed.

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $232,000 303,000 annually.
