About Hypotenuse Analytics

Hypotenuse Analytics is building an Indian DeepTech company focused on AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Intelligent Infrastructure.

Our technology portfolio includes AI-based Structural Health Monitoring, Critical Infrastructure Intelligence, Digital Twins, Surveillance Intelligence, Video Intelligence and Reality Trust / Deepfake Detection.

We are looking for a hands-on CTO who wants to build meaningful technology, lead a high-performing engineering organisation and shape our long-term AI & technology strategy.

The Role

As CTO, you will own the company’s technology vision, AI/ML strategy, architecture, engineering execution and technology team.

You will work directly with the Founder & CEO to take products from:

Prototype → Production → Enterprise Scale → Global Platform

Key Responsibilities

Technology & AI Strategy

Define and execute the company’s 12–36 month technology roadmap.

Lead AI/ML, Computer Vision, Generative AI, Deep Learning and MLOps strategy.

Design scalable, secure and production-ready technology architecture.

Identify emerging technologies and convert them into meaningful product opportunities.

Engineering Leadership

Lead and mentor a 10+ member technology team, with plans to scale the organisation.

Build strong engineering, AI/ML and R&D teams.

Establish engineering standards across architecture, code quality, testing, CI/CD, security and deployment.

Create a culture of ownership, innovation and execution.

Product & DeepTech

Drive AI products from PoC/MVP to enterprise-grade production.

Lead R&D, technical experimentation, IP/patent opportunities and strategic technology partnerships.

Ensure technology directly solves real customer and business problems.

Build reusable AI and technology foundations across multiple products.

Enterprise & Strategic Leadership

Represent technology in meetings with CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, investors, government organisations and strategic partners.

Lead technical presentations, architecture discussions, enterprise PoCs and technology due diligence.

Translate complex AI/technology into clear business outcomes.

Business & Team Planning

Work closely with Founder/CEO, Product and Business teams on technology and product strategy.

Own technology hiring, infrastructure planning, budgets and execution priorities.

Align:

Technology Roadmap → Product Roadmap → Business Roadmap

Required Qualifications

8–10+ years of technology/engineering experience.

B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent from IIT, NIT or reputed/equivalent engineering institution.

Proven experience leading 10+ member technology/engineering teams.

Strong practical experience in AI/ML and software engineering.

Experience taking products from 0→1 and PoC→Production.

Strong understanding of scalable systems, cloud, APIs, databases, MLOps and modern AI architectures.

Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and decision-making skills.

Strong Advantage

Experience in:

Computer Vision | Generative AI | LLMs | Deep Learning | Video Intelligence | Digital Twins | Edge AI | IoT | Infrastructure Technology | Surveillance | Cybersecurity | Enterprise AI

Research publications, patents, open-source contributions, startup/founder experience or experience with enterprise/government technology projects will be a strong plus.
