Position Overview

The City Operations Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence for the Mumbai hub, including procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, order fulfillment, team management, and process governance. This role is critical in building, stabilizing, and scaling operations while ensuring seamless collaboration across warehouse, logistics, procurement, finance, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting & Analytics

Generate and analyze operational and procurement reports regularlyMaintain PO vs GRN tracking and highlight discrepanciesShare daily under-process reports for operational visibilityProvide data-backed insights for process improvements2. Procurement & Vendor Management

Identify and onboard new vendors based on operational needsNegotiate pricing, terms, and turnaround timelines with vendorsResolve issues related to procurement, deliveries, and credit notesEnsure timely procurement of medicines and consumables3. Operations & Inventory Planning

Manage purchase planning and inventory availabilityRelease bulk purchase orders based on demand forecastingCoordinate with warehouse teams to maintain stock accuracyDrive PO to GRN closure with proper documentation4. Team Leadership & Staff Management

Allocate tasks and manage daily workflowsMonitor team productivity and operational disciplineConduct regular team discussions and problem-solving sessionsGuide, mentor, and support team membersCollaborate with support teams for issue resolution5. Packing Material Management

Ensure timely procurement and availability of packing materialsCoordinate replenishment planning with the Chennai teamMonitor stock levels and prevent operational shortages6. Order Fulfillment & Logistics Coordination

Oversee city-level order processing and dispatchesCoordinate with hyperlocal delivery partnersMonitor fulfillment metrics and improve delivery efficiencyEnsure compliance with healthcare operational standards7. Compliance & Process Governance

Ensure adherence to SOPs and pharma compliance standardsSupport audits and documentation requirementsMaintain procurement and vendor-related records accurately8. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with operations, finance, tech, and support teamsParticipate in process improvement initiativesDrive adoption of new tools, systems, and workflowsRequired Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related fields8 12 years of experience in Healthcare, Pharma Operations, Procurement, or Supply ChainExperience managing city-level or Hub-level operations preferredStrong understanding of inventory planning and vendor managementExperience leading teams in fast-paced operational environmentsPay: 800,[hidden],000,000.00 per year
